Meet Sierra Meszaros,
the spirited force behind Sierra Support Hub. I'm not just an entrepreneur; I'm a lifelong learner, educator, and advocate with a passion for making a positive impact. My academic journey, including a master's degree from the University of Chicago Divinity School and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Nevada, Reno, reflects my deep curiosity about the historical ties between American Judaism, Israel/Palestine, and the intersections with Black liberation movements.
Professionally, I bring a diverse background and skillset to the table. From my days as an HR Specialist at Capital Insurance Group, where I played a pivotal role in shaping the internship program and fostering meaningful connections for interns, to my years as a Jewish youth professional working with congregations and organizations like the Union of Reform Judaism, my journey has been marked by a commitment to growth and community.
But there's more to my story. I've dedicated significant time to volunteerism, notably with Between Horses and Humans, a non-profit in Northern Nevada. This experience has allowed me to hone skills in social media content creation, website design, and marketing email management while supporting the organization in achieving its ambitious fundraising goals.
Beyond the professional sphere, you'll find me sharing knowledge as an instructor at Truckee Meadows Community College and indulging in my love for musical theater, sci-fi adventures, and the beauty of nature. More than a service provider, I'm deeply invested in the fight for the liberation of all peoples.
As I launch Sierra Support Hub, it's not just about business; it's about creating meaningful connections, fostering growth, and making a positive impact. I'm excited to bring my unique blend of academic curiosity, professional experience, and a personal touch to support individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. Let's embark on this journey together!
